Jeremy De Bonet is considered a true visionary in the mobile industry. Before founding Skyward Mobile, De Bonet was CTO of MobiTV, where he invented the groundbreaking technology behind MobiTV, the first Global Television Network targeting the billions of cellular phone and handset users worldwide. The service currently delivers live television to the cell phones of over a million subscribers around the world.
Prior to MobiTV, De Bonet was founder and CTO of Assemble Media, Inc., acquired by ClickRadio in 2001. As CTO of AM/FM New Media and Internet Strategist for Clear Channel Communications, he aligned Internet strategies to facilitate the merger, which formed the largest radio company in the U.S., with more than 900 stations.
De Bonet holds a B.S. in Applied Mathematics from Columbia University and an M.S. in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He has more than 35 scientific publications and 60 patents and patents pending. In 2005, he received the Emmy Award for Outstanding Achievement in Engineering Development from the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
Technology innovator Mike Wessler directs the development of phone-side applications that are scalable from the simplest of Java phones to the most powerful recent phone. Prior to co-founding Skyward, Wessler researched and developed collaborative applications at Sun Microsystems Labs, building user interfaces for distance collaboration.
Wessler holds a B.A. in Computer Science from Harvard University, and received his Ph.D. in 2002 from the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where his research focused on the development of visual interface tools that aid in the comprehension of complex systems.
In 1997, Wessler took a one-year sabbatical from MIT to join Vice President Al Gore's staff as his personal computer advisor. Along with helping the Vice President to invent the Internet, Wessler worked with the Office of the Vice President to explore new technologies and their applications to improve the workflow of government offices.
Prior to joining Skyward, Misha Bolotski served as vice president of electronics engineering at Microdisplay Corporation, where he was responsible for coordinating R&D efforts and initiating new product development in multiple business units. While at Microdisplay Corporation, he also drove the company’s IP strategy, and led the team that produced the world’s first single-panel 1080p LCoS display.
Bolotski holds several patents, including eight currently pending, and is the creator of the Display Compile software product, a geometric display specification language that accelerates the development process for advanced electronic displays.
Bolotski received an M.A. Sc. in Computer Engineering from the University of British Columbia, and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where his research focused on massively parallel computing for computer vision.
